When is Ease being sunset?
On June 3, 2026, Employee Navigator officially announced a two-phase sunset of the Ease platform:
- January 1, 2027: No New Companies. The “Add Company” feature is disabled in Ease. Existing companies on Ease are not impacted; integrations, renewals, and customer access all continue. Brokers may continue renewing and servicing existing Ease groups throughout 2026 and into 2027.
- July 1, 2027: Read-Only Sunset Date. Ease officially sunsets and transitions to read-only mode. Brokers, HR teams, and employees retain access to historical data and reporting tools, while integrations and customer support services for Ease are discontinued.
This announcement came three years after Employee Navigator’s April 2023 acquisition of Ease.
Can brokers still add new groups to Ease?
Broker can continue to add new groups to Ease until January 1, 2027, when the “Add Company” field is disabled. Existing Ease groups can continue to renew and operate normally between January 1 and July 1, 2027.
Do brokers need to migrate all groups at once?
No. Employee Navigator has consistently stated that brokers can migrate at their own pace. Groups can be migrated one at a time; different brokers have taken different approaches.
Will Employee Navigator ever force brokers to migrate?
Broker need to migrate their groups off Ease prior to the July 1, 2027 sunset date but the pace of transition to Employee Navigator is controlled by each broker.
Access, Logins & Post-Migration Life
What happens to Ease after July 1, 2027?
Ease transitions to read-only mode. This means:
- Brokers, HR teams, and employees retain access to historical data and reporting tools.
- Integrations end.
- Customer support services ends for Ease.
Will my Ease historical data be preserved?
Yes, Employee Navigator will ensure customers have access to any historical data on Ease.

Employee Navigator will provide training opportunities to Ease brokers on a recurring basis throughout 2026 and 2027. This includes:
- Employee Navigator system training
- Training on using the migration tool
